Our Story & Mission
Jesus My Refuge & Salvation (JMRS) was founded by Pastor Johnny Joseph and officially began on October 5, 2025, in Farmingville, New York. We are a Spirit-led and Bible-based church committed to being a refuge for the broken and a light of truth in these challenging times.
JMRS operates independently under the lordship of Jesus Christ, while maintaining a respectful spiritual partnership with Apostle Posada of Jesus Mon Refuge in Paris.
Our mission is clear and focused: we exist to win souls through evangelization, to make disciples, and to build a holy community that is grounded in the Word of God, empowered through prayer, and dedicated to living in righteousness.
At JMRS, we believe every believer has a purpose. That is why we encourage each person to serve, grow in faith, and walk in obedience to God’s calling. Our ministries are open to all ages and backgrounds, offering opportunities for men, women, youth, elders, families, creatives, and finance leaders to utilize their God-given gifts in building His Kingdom.

Our Pastor's background
Founder & Lead Pastor – Jesus My Refuge & Salvation (JMRS)
Born in Port-au- Prince (Haiti), Pastor Johnny Joseph answered the call to ministry in 2018 and officially founded Jesus My Refuge & Salvation (JMRS) on October 5, 2025, in Farmingville, New York.
He holds the following academic and ministry credentials:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics – University of Clermont-Ferrand, France (2009)
- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics – University of Montpellier, France (2013)
- Certificate in Evangelism and Soul Winning – EDGA France (2020)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Teaching – River Bible Institute, France (2024)
- Master’s Degree in Homeland Security Management – Long Island University (LIU), USA (2025)
Pastor Johnny is a passionate preacher, teacher, and servant-leader, dedicated to winning souls, restoring lives, and raising a generation grounded in truth. He is married to Widlyne, and they are blessed with four children: Nehemie, Jonathan, Shauna, and Shane.
